Hand-Made from Sustainably-Sourced Materials ... including reclaimed beads, antique gears, a vintage red satin ribbon, an antique watch face, a vintage metal button and a section of an 1918 postcard ... You will not find another like this!
The gears are sourced from an antique watch; the piece of postcard is from one that my great-grandfather sent to my great-grandmother in 1918; the antique watch face is one I picked up along my travels.
The name for this piece comes from the connection my family has to the last Tzar of Russia through my paternal grandmother and the design of this piece which reminds me of royal medals.
I do not purchase my jewelry supplies from vendors.
Each gear is from an antique watch that I have taken apart.
The sea glass I gathered either on the shores of the Pacific Ocean in California or the shores of Lake Superior in Northern Minnesota.
The beads are from vintage jewelry pieces.
I collect, disassemble and breath new life into all these treasured, shiny bits through my jewelry design.

Tucked away in my spacious, basement studio surrounded by large windows that look out on the woods ...
